A perfectly beautiful way of honouring your friend, with the simply put title and post of "Gone on a Wander." And an amazing photo of her in the forest to conjure that mystical and comforting image of where special people and animals perhaps go, when they leave us with such heavy hearts.
I've been following your journey for awhile and was dreading the day you posted this. My heart goes out to you. Be comforted by the fact that you did what was best for her and you gave her a great life. Blessings to you. Carmon
Morgan and Heather, We are very sad to hear about the loss of Bear! You will be a long time recovering. We still miss our boxer Lily as if we just lost her. Hang in there and try to keep your chin up. All the best, The Montross's
Oh, I'm so very sorry to see this post!! I have been away and had no idea, although I knew that there had been problems in recent weeks/months with the seizures. I am sorry for your loss, and sorry that I am weeks late in sending my condolences. It is just such a hard, hard thing to love, and lose, a beloved dog.
I know it's been several months now since the loss of Bear, and I hope the grief is easing just a bit. I always loved your stories of Bear, and it was so obvious that you shared a deep and loving bond. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. We will miss her also.
Thank you Brooke. That is really sweet. I love that I was able to share Bear with everyone, she truly was a special dog and meant the world to me. We miss her a lot and some days are more difficult than others without her here but we still know how lucky we were to be able to have her in our lives for as long as we did.
So sorry to hear it. I know he was loved very much. A dog is like a child and equally missed when he is gone. You have my condolences.
